1. Frontal View Mouth Shapes
Creating your character in a frontal view is the most common option and in this section, we will introduce you to our free frontal mouth shape packs for Character Animator.

3. How to import the mouth shapes into your puppet?
Step 1: Download the archive and extract it
Just download the mouth pack archive and extract it to a preferred folder on your computer.
Step 2: Import into the source puppet file
Next, you would need to import the mouths into the design puppet file and adjust them if needed
Option 1: Adobe Illustrator
– Open the .ai file, select the mouths you want, and copy them (Ctrl + C).
– Open your original vector file of the puppet.
– Paste the mouths (Ctrl + V) in the mouth group of your puppet.
– Resize/Rotate/Position to fit your puppet’s face.
– Save the .ai and get back to Adobe Character Animator.
Option 2: Adobe Photoshop
– Open your original .psd file of the puppet.
– Import the .png files of the mouths in the mouth group of your puppet.
– Resize/Rotate/Position to fit your puppet’s face.
– Rename each mouth to fit Adobe Character Animator requirements.
– Save the .psd and get back to Adobe Character Animator.
