Double click on the little square boxes under the gradient (left and right) to open a dialog box for picking your colors. Hit <strong>L<\/strong> for the\u00a0<strong>Ellipse tool\u00a0<\/strong>and hold <strong>Shift\u00a0<\/strong>when you start dragging, so your circle is perfect. Once ready, press\u00a0<strong>Ctrl-C, Ctrl-F<\/strong> &#8211; shortcuts to copy the circle and paste the new one in front of the one you just made. M<em>ove it slightly up and to the right<\/em>, until you get desired horn shape (look at the shape-forming underneath). <em>Drag from right to left to select the two circles<\/em> and go to the <strong>Pathfinder<\/strong> menu and press <strong>Minus Front<\/strong>. The color we use here is <strong>R:153 G:197 B:99<\/strong>. Press <strong>Shift-M <\/strong>to activate<strong> (Shape Builder tool)\u00a0<\/strong>and point at the outer parts of the yellow rectangles. <strong>Hold Alt<\/strong> and you will see hatched areas with a minus. Click on these extra outer parts This way, we are cleaning up our horn.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Select the horn and the rectangles and press <strong>Ctrl-G<\/strong> to make a group of the whole horn. We will also work smart and use the same horn for the other side of the body. Let&#8217;s make one of the legs\u00a0and we will copy the ready group and reflect it (same technique as used for the horns).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draw a long and narrow rectangle in pink color and use green stripes, as for the hands and horns &#8211; you already learned the technique!<\/li>\n<li>Make a Circle <strong>(hold Shift, L),\u00a0<\/strong>select with <strong>A<\/strong> the bottom point of the circle, and use <strong>Delete Anchor Point Tool (-)\u00a0<\/strong>to delete it. Add <strong>Gradient<\/strong> to the distorted circle, but this time choose <strong>type: Linear<\/strong>, instead of Radial. Select the circle and press <strong>G <\/strong>to be able to control the direction of your gradient. Press your left mouse button and drag different directions. Arrange them, using <strong>Ctrl-Shift-[ or\u00a0Ctrl-Shift-]<\/strong>, the right nail has to be\u00a0on the top, then the middle one is underneath, and the left one is on the bottom. Erase unnecessary parts using <strong>Shift-M<\/strong>. Add <em>gradient<\/em> &#8211; choose 2 colors of grey for\u00a0the nails. Select the nails one by one, <strong>Ctrl-C and Ctrl-B\u00a0<\/strong>for each one of them, make the back copy<em> black<\/em> and transparent to<strong> 20%<\/strong>.\u00a0Group them <strong>(Ctrl-G)<\/strong> and move them to the left side of the monster&#8217;s foot. Reflect, copy them for the other foot, as we learned previously. Of course, eyebrows! Again, make 2\u00a0ellipses on top of each other, cut them using <strong>Pathfinder&gt;Minus front, <\/strong>and resize the shape with <strong>V<\/strong> to look like an eyebrow.
